The world as we know it has turned into a dark place. As war between Israel and Gaza rages on, numerous lives perish under the pursuit of twisted faith and political propaganda. The Israeli government has responded with a violent war cry in response to the unexpected assault from Hamas terrorists, which has claimed the lives of 600 Israeli citizens, the largest and the deadliest terrorist attack on Israeli soil in five decades. With both sides shedding copious amounts of innocent blood, is indeed a period of “long and difficult war” as asserted by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

On October 24, Make-A-Wish organized a special event in New York City, generously sponsored by Fanatics. Jayson Tatum, the standout player for the Boston Celtics, and MLB All-Star Aaron Judge, joined NFL legend Tom Brady in Brooklyn to create memorable moments with young individuals battling critical illnesses. In stark contrast to the atrocities acted out on innocent children at the Israeli-Gaza waterfront, the priceless smiles on the blessed kids at Wish strike an unnerving chord. We, like StandWithUs, stand in solidarity with peace and prosperity.
