Comedians and football legends are at it and aren’t going easy with their roasts. After all, it’s the Greatest Roast of All Time by Kevin Hart and Tom Brady is the bullseye. But nobody saw what was coming when comedian Will Ferrell took the stage.

During their playing days, Tom Brady had a rivalry with former New York Giants QB Eli Manning, who got away with two historic victories over the NFL GOAT and the New England Patriots. So, it’s no wonder when this incident took center stage at the Netflix Live Roast venue.

And just like that, the Hollywood Walk of Famer turned the ‘Kia forum’ against Brady. Will Ferrell may have made the biggest impression in Netflix’s The Greatest Roast of All Time: Tom Brady. He not only roasted the NFL GOAT Tom Brady but rallied the whole crowd at Kia Forum to join in the roast as they chanted, “Eli Manning made Tom Brady his b*tch.”

The jokes didn’t end with Brady’s ex-wife Gisele Bundchen, and his “golden skin”. Ferrell’s comedic banter took to another level when he shifted the crowd’s focus to Eli Manning. He asked the crowd, “You don’t see Eli Manning here, do you?” That’s coz Tom’s afraid of Eli Manning. Eli Manning made Tom Brady his b*tch.” The 17,500-capacity indoor arena erupted with boos and cheers as Ferrell insisted they do the chant again.

The current HC of the NFC team Eli Manning is full of life and sarcasm. In February 2024, he roasted the 7x Super Bowl champion at the Supa Hot Fire with a rap diss where he said, “I’m Eli Manning, I’m nice! Tom Brady’s the goat? SIKE! I beat him twice!” This came after the Giants beat the Patriots two times in the Super Bowl with Manning taking home the MVP honors in both wins. Quite a roast for Tom Brady, eh? But he’s no less when it comes to roasting.

Tom Brady roasted Eli Manning for joining X

Eli Manning won both the Super Bowl XLII and Super Bowl XLVI by coming off strong in the fourth quarter after trailing behind. So, in 2020, when he announced his decision to join X (then called Twitter) with the caption, “To paraphrase Jimmy Chitwood, “I don’t know if it’ll make any change, but I figure it’s time for me to start playing social media.””

This post came after he retired from the NFL and it gave Tom Brady the perfect opportunity and reason to roast him for his late arrival on X. He wrote, “Welcome @EliManning, In typical fashion, you never showed up until the 4th quarter anyway.” These friendly jabs at each other provide wholesome entertainment to fans who can’t get enough of these two NFL legends. These roasts aren’t uncommon and it may not be the last of them. So, be prepared for more laughter in the coming days.
