After the huge success of its inaugural event, the Fanatics Fest is returning to New York in 2025. And get this, it’s not your typical fan fest where folks line up for selfies and autographs. This time, they’re lining up to compete. Yeah—like, actually go head-to-head with the same athletes they usually just yell at from the couch. It’s called the Fanatics Games, and it’s turning Fanatics Fest into a full-blown sports showdown.

You’ve got 50 pros, 50 fans, and one massive question: who’s getting humbled? And if you’re thinking that it’s some gimmicky half-speed charity match, think again. There’s real cash on the line. We’re talking $1 million to the top finisher. But it isn’t going to be as easy as it sounds. Oh no. Because the lineup is stacked with names who don’t like losing, and not just from the NFL.

The Fanatics Games have got Tom Brady, Russell Wilson, Kevin Durant, Gronk, IShowSpeed, Micah Parsons, Kevin Hart, Logan Paul, you name it, and the folks best in their field will be there for this mega event, scheduled from June 20-22, 2025. So, the agenda is simple: 50 iconic athletes + celebs vs. 50 lucky fans. Call it the Pros vs. Joes format. And looks like the NFL GOAT is ready to compete.

On Tuesday, Michael Rubin, the CEO and founder of Fanatics, took to his official IG handle to share the schedule, participants, and the challenges in the upcoming Fanatics Games. Right after that went down, Brady re-shared the post in his IG story and warned all those participating against him. “Think you have what it takes,” he wrote. “Because I’m not taking it easy… Good luck.” And yeah, that one angry emoji to conclude his warning.

So, it’s safe to say that Brady has a knack for making waves outside of the NFL even after hanging up his cleats from the pros. He’s out there gearing up for the Fanatics Games, no doubt. But besides, his business mind is attracting praises from fellow billionaire partners as well.

Tom Brady wanted to build his name in the business world

By now, it won’t be wrong to say that Tom Brady has been enjoying a smooth post-retirement life ever since he called it a career as the greatest NFL player of all time. Whether his broadcasting gig for Fox, which attracted mixed reviews from fans and analysts alike, or his minority ownership of the Las Vegas Raiders, the seven-time Super Bowl champion knows how to make his presence felt outside of the gridiron.

However, it’s his business mind that shocked his business partner, Mike Repole. Last year, Brady and Repole teamed up when Brady merged his wellness company, TB12, and his apparel line, Brady Brand, with Repole’s performance training brand, NoBull. And recently, Repole shared an anecdote on the podcast Next Up with Adam Breneman that features Brady’s transformation from a top-tier athlete to a businessman.

“Tom Brady didn’t just want to slap his name on a brand. He wanted to build it,” Repole said on the podcast. “Brady didn’t even know what ‘EBITDA’  (earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization) was. Now he’s in the weeds asking questions I don’t even ask myself.” The collaboration between these two has just one vision—to make the brand epic and historical. “I  wanted to do something really big,” Repole added.

“I think NoBull has a chance to become an epic, historic brand—playing in the space of health and wellness through sneakers, apparel, nutrition, and mindset, and really helping people through adversity, resilience, and grit.” And Brady is all in to stand side-by-side with that vision. And get this, the NFL GOAT echoed the exact sentiment and admitted that it was the best opportunity for him to make a difference for the brands he’s involved with.
