The power couple of the country, Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen shocked the world in late 2022 with the announcement of their divorce. After a beautiful marriage that lasted 13 years, they decided to part ways unanimously and amicably. Though both have moved on, the supermodel is now giving more insight into her relationship with Brady.

Although the two were seen as an ideal couple in the public eye, they had their fair share of differences which were lingering on, eventually leading to their divorce. In a recent interview, she revealed the depth of her bond with Brady by explaining the aftermath of her divorce.

Gisele Bundchen got a new life after her divorce from Tom Brady

Supermodel Gisele Bundchen was invited for an interview with Robin Roberts of ABC News. In the video, uploaded on YouTube on March 9th, the ex-wife of Tom Brady spoke about a new chapter in her life. During the interview, she revealed how difficult her divorce from Tom Brady was when she said, “What could have killed me, gave me a whole new life.”

The former Victoria’s Secret model was referring to the end of her 13 years of marriage with Brady and her life after that. The two announced their divorce on October 28, 2022, in an amicable manner. Despite their separation, the couple still have a soft corner for each other as reflected by Bundchen’s statement. She says, “When I saw those kind eyes [Tom Brady], I was I literally fall in love like right away I was like what.”

There was even a moment in the interview when Bundchen had to take a break to overcome her emotions. When Roberts reminded her about the time Bundchen linked the divorce to “death of my dream“, Bundchen started crying and said, “Sorry, guys, I didn’t know … Can I have a little moment?” It indicates how deeply Bundchen has been affected by the divorce.

However, the couple shares two children. Hence, they decided to go for co-parenting as both cherished their children. Bundchen refers to her divorce as ‘a transition that had to take place’, but she has moved on, and so has Brady.

Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen move in different directions

Well, there were rumors surrounding Tom Brady’s dating life, including one with Kim Kardashian, but sources suggest he is dating supermodel Irina Shayk. Although nothing has been confirmed by Tom Brady, the numerous sightings suggest that the two are still dating.

On the other hand, Bundchen decided to return to her modeling career and fitness advocate. Some of her major recent projects include her work with Louis Vuitton’s Yayoi Kusama collection, a Miami Beach photoshoot, and a cookbook titled Nourish. She is also reportedly dating her jiu-jitsu instructor, Joaquim Valente. Safe to say, despite their hardships, the ex-couple seem to be doing great in their respective lives now.
