Gisele Bündchen often takes a trip down memory lane to reflect on her journey. In 2024, the supermodel recalled her first American Vogue cover at 18, during the late 1990s heroin chic era. Gisele held out the famous July 1999 issue of American Vogue, which launched her into A-list superstardom, and said, “It was a very special day.” That cover was a turning point not just for her career but for the fashion industry too. With her ‘return of the curve’ photograph by Irving Penn, the industry started moving away from the gaunt heroin chic period.

“I was lucky to be in the right place at the right time,” Gisele shared. The cover icon, who has featured in more than 1,200 magazines worldwide, has also made 100-plus appearances on Vogue. In fact, in 2023, she made her first Vogue appearance since her divorce from Tom Brady. She looked bold in her red outfit and red hair. It was an edgy Maison Valentino look, which was paired with matching nails and pale skin, as opposed to her sunkissed look. And now, she is once again back on Vogue France’s most recent wellness edition!

This is her first cover shoot post-pregnancy, and for that, the model was clicked by Mario Sorrenti on the island of St. Barts. The Brazilian beauty posed on the shoreline wearing a white oversized maxi dress from Chloé. In other shots, she is wearing a striking black mesh dress, and in another, she is relaxing in a black slit dress on a white-covered sofa. She was so happy with the outcome, she rushed to Instagram to share the images from the wellness edition. She wrote:

“Thank you @voguefrance and @mario_sorrenti for having me in this special wellness issue. To me, wellness goes far beyond physical health. It’s not just about what you eat or how you move, it’s also about how you feel, think, and live. It’s in your thoughts, your habits, the boundaries you honor, and the inner peace you protect. True wellness is about embracing, honoring, and nourishing every part of who you are.”

After months of sleepless nights with her baby, she openly discussed rediscovering her ‘rhythm’ once more with Vogue France now that her infant sleeps through the night. With gratitude in her voice, she remarked, “As any new mother knows, it’s amazing how much sleep or lack of it can change everything.”

The supermodel also reflected on how her personal life had changed since she and her ex-husband, Tom Brady, had parted ways. “I feel more comfortable in my own skin, and my priorities are clearer. I’m grateful to be where I am. I feel like I’ve earned it.” But if Gisele’s world is about peace and self-care, then Tom Brady’s most recent disclosure reveals the muddy realities of parenting in the spotlight.

Tom Brady reflects on a parenting mistake involving Gisele Bündchen and their children

In relation to his contentious Netflix roast from the previous year, the seven-time Super Bowl champion called it a “f— up” event that wounded his children. Comedian Nikki Glaser during the 2024 roast, harshly criticised Tom Brady for his breakup with Gisele and made fun of her recent romance with jiu-jitsu instructor Joaquim Valente. Nikki joked, “You have seven rings… well, eight now that Gisele gave hers back.”

On the ‘Impaulsive’ podcast earlier this month, Brady disclosed that although he had a good time at the roast and laughed at himself that evening, the fallout struck home when he saw how distressed his kids were. “It was tough on my kids for sure,” he admitted. “You don’t know what to expect, and I love laughing at myself… but for my kids, that was really hard.”

His tone grew somber as he reflected on the parenting lessons learned too late. “There are some things as a parent you f*** up and you don’t realize until after. We’re not perfect parents. There’s no perfect manual for it.” All of a sudden, the roast jokes concerning Gisele, her new relationship, and their family were more than just a roast. They carried weight and consequences. He continued, I felt like a stake through the heart when I talked to my kids the next day. ‘They’re protective of their mom, of their dad, of everybody. ‘What was the point of that? Why did you do that?’ You live and you learn.”

According to sources, Gisele was upset about being targeted and concentrated on protecting their kids from the ‘irresponsible content’ that was broadcast. Still, insiders claim that Gisele and Tom continue to have a strong co-parenting connection even after their 2022 divorce following 13 years of marriage.
