Tom Brady is a revered figure in the NFL arena. As one can say, the baton is being passed between himself and the next in line, Patrick Mahomes. the Chiefs’ QB is carving his legacy on the football spectrum. Mahomes is an asset to the team and proved his mettle in two SB title wins.

Tom Brady recently appeared in week 17 of the podcast “Let’s Go” which also had John Legend onboard. Brady had some noteworthy praise for Patrick Mahomes on the show. When pointed out by one of the other speakers that Mahomes has the same fire as Brady, this is what the 7x SB winner had to say: “I love the way Patrick approaches it. Believe me, the confidence he gets as a player, I don’t think anyone can stop him as a player.” Brady continued by saying- “I still believe in what the Chiefs are doing, and I’m never gonna bet against a guy like Patrick because he’s such a phenomenal player and leader.”
This was a terrific bit of appreciation from one of the NFL greats as he reflected on Mahomes’ game. Patrick Mahomes is more than one sense similar to Tom Brady. Both the QBs have a desire to be the best and exude a certain form of passion into their teams. Mahomes wears his heart on his sleeve and doesn’t shy away from standing up for his teammates. This, coupled with his play-making prowess, puts the Chiefs’ QB on the list of all-time greats. Brady’s inspired appreciation was much-needed after Kansas lost their recent game.

A tough outing for the KC Chiefs against the rampant Raiders
The Christmas match ended up in a frustrating loss for the Kansas City Chiefs. For their talisman, Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce, it was far from an ideal start. Chiefs, to be fair, were lacking in their offensive department. Moreover, the strong Raiders didn’t give them any chance with their well-strung defenses.

It took the Chiefs 2 good quarters to start with scoring on the sheet. They had three of their drives being punted on the festive day. Raiders too made merry of their opponent’s failures. After being down to 7-3 they scored heavily to finish at 17-7 during the half time. Amidst the Chiefs’ meltdown that was there for the NFL world to witness, the Raiders kept applying pressure and scoring TDs at will! It’ll be a tough night to forget for the Kansas side as they march ahead with their campaign.
