Fear is as natural of a reaction as any other emotion and hardly anyone can deny to not having experienced it. Similar is the case with Tom Brady‘s ex-wife Gisele Bündchen. A few years back, the actress and model experienced a deep sense of fear sourced from a place of love where her now 10-year-old daughter Vivian was involved.

The incident had left the Brazilian model trembling in its wake as her young daughter went through a terrifying moment in her life. While the story portrays fear-inducing emotions, they eventually narrate a story of courage and resilience.

The echo of fear and a mother’s undying love

“It was one of the worst days of my life,” this line was stated by Gisele Bündchen, as per an article by InStyle which shed light on one of the darkest periods of her life as a mother. It talked about the moment when Vivian, only seven at the time, took a perilous tumble from her horse, the moment really scared the model. 

However, while the fall was difficult, the aftermath of it also tested Bündchen and little Vivian. In order to properly recover, she had to undergo surgery twice which was difficult not only for the little girl but also for Bündchen to watch. However, despite these challenges, the young child exhibited resilience and courage that many fail to display.

Recalling the journey of Vivian back to health and then back on the saddle made the model reflect on the bravery her daughter showed while trying to get back up again. She said, “A few months later, she’s running on the beach. I’m like, ‘Hold on!’ And then after that, she was like, ‘Mom, I want to go back jumping again.’ And I’m like, ‘OK.’But I was too afraid.”

The journey of this comeback started when little Vivian decided it was time to go back to riding horses. Her mom, Gisele Bündchen supported her unconditionally. Initially, the mother-daughter duo rode the horse together, and eventually the confident Vivian started riding solo like before.
