Ever since their stint together at the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, WR Antonio Brown has been unhappy with Tom Brady. He’s even leveled a few accusations at the NFL legend fuelling the fire of the feud. Now, seemingly miraculously, Brown is coming out clean, ready to douse the fire by extending an olive branch to Brady.

Antonio Brown buries the hatchet by inviting Tom Brady fishing

It’s no secret that former Tampa Bay Buccaneers teammates Tom Brady and Antonio Brown don’t see each other eye to eye. Brown joined the Bucs in 2022 shortly after Brady, and the two of them didn’t get along well from the start. However, things might be about to change with the recent unexpected tweet by Brown who is potentially suggesting an end to their feud. He tweeted, Tom Brady I’m sorry let’s go fishing.”

The infamous Brady-Brown feud surfaced when Brown said it was Brady who fueled him to play even though he wasn’t ready. Brown stated, “I give everyone their prop from a team standpoint, as far as the team, but you know, we all got our own agendas in the midst of the team. So when you’re an older player, you getting deals like that… My agent’s telling me already before the season that this guy, who he hooked me up with, is calling him, cussing him out about the contract.”

Following his controversial exit from the NFL, Brown threw shade at the NFL GOAT claiming that he promised he would find him with the ball early and often. He quoted Brady saying, “Yo this week man, the Jets man, they sweet man. Imma hit you with like 10 to 12.” The same week, Brady’s trainer refused to work with Brown and this led to the beginning of a feud between the two Bucs stars.

Coming back to the present, we don’t know what could have propelled Antonio Brown to extend the olive branch to his nemesis. But it surely is a sweet gesture and we hope Tom Brady would consider the proposal of going fishing together.
