Life after NFL retirement is suiting Jason Kelce well. As his wife, Kylie, once noted, “He’s busier retired than he was playing football. We’re setting into sort of our new norm.” And of course, he is. He’s playing golf, making waves with his brother Travis Kelce on their podcast New Heights, and even has a three-year broadcasting gig with ESPN. He’s even big on community through his efforts with the Be Philly Foundation. But is that all? Nope. Jason and Kylie are showing up for the Philly community in a big way, making their mark on a cause that is very close to Kylie’s heart.

Kylie Kelce is a big supporter of the Eagles Autism Foundation. She was introduced to the world of autism at a young age by her neighbor, Tim. And she is sharing that connection with Jason as well. Speaking about the EAF, Kylie had once said, “The EAF encourages the conversation because the unknown keeps people away. If you shy away from the autism community you are missing out on some of the best human beings you will ever come in contact with in your life. Spending time with them always helps me appreciate the high points in life.” So the Eagles Autism Foundation geared up for another year of awareness, and she too, did her part.

As the Jason & Travis Kelce Fan Page wrote, “Kylie’s speech at the Eagles Autism Symposium advocating for people with autism was inspiring, and even brought tears to some like Melissa Hall who graciously shared these clips with us from the event.” The post featured clips of Kylie’s speech along with some pictures from the event. The page has another post that sums up the entire moment perfectly. “Kylie isn’t just supporting a cause, she’s helping shape a more inclusive future. It’s inspiring to see her leading with love…” Given her own connection to autism, she delivered a speech that connected with people on a personal and emotional level. And up next, it was Jason Kelce’s turn to make the difference.

Jason Kelce, along with the rest of the Eagles crew, was present at the Lincoln Financial Field, taking part in the Eagles Autism Challenge, a 10-mile bike ride through the streets of Philly. As per a post on X by Christopher Babos, we can see Jason geared up for the bike ride. A big smile and a helmet, signing autographs for the fans gathered there. Babos wrote, “Jason Kelce sighting (and signing!) at this morning Eagles Autism Run/Walk – The 10-mile bike ride is about to kick off.” Clearly, Kylie’s influence also reaches Jason as he does his part for the autism community. All the proceeds from this event will help scientific research on autism. And Jason wasn’t the only one there. The Eagles gang showed up for Philly, just as Philly shows up for their home team.

The Eagles gear up for the autism challenge, together.

As Jason and Kylie showed up in their own way to show their support, the rest of the Eagles crew weren’t that far behind. Indeed, the stars showed up for Philly in a big way and headlined the event. The bike ride was kicked off by Eagles’ owner Jeffrey Lurie, veteran Brandon Graham, safety Reed Blankenship, and, of course, QB Jalen Hurts. Graham’s excited introduction, “We’re here as an alumni, baby!” is already going viral, gaining love and support. The Eagles have always been one with their city. The players, active as well as legends, showing up just proves how much they love their city. And why wouldn’t they? It’s not just Kylie Kelce who shares a connection with the autism community.

Jeffry Laurie has a connection of his own with autism. When Jeffrey was only six, his brother Peter was diagnosed with autism. As Laurie said in an interview some years ago, “It’s been a daily part of my life for the last 60 years – You’re so concerned with your own brother and his well-being growing up; it puts you in a mode to think of other people’s well-being than my own, which I find liberating because you can focus on how others are and not be so inward looking.” It is this connection that leads Jeffrey to show up for the cause year after year. And needless to say, the fans love him for it.
