Three Super Bowl rings certainly add a lot to the glamor of your awards shelf. And being a decorated veteran for the Dallas Cowboys comes with its own perks. But that’s not really what Troy Aikman is all about. His story goes far beyond football, farther than even his Fox or ESPN career. His story is rooted in family, and most importantly, the love he cherishes for his daughters. And that’s exactly what he’s celebrating with all his might.

Troy Aikman has a lot to celebrate this year. His Nephew just became a lawyer. You know it never hurts to have a lawyer in the family. But that’s not the highlight. It’s how he celebrates his daughters. As Aikman had once said, “I’ve been fortunate enough to fulfill some dreams and play for the Cowboys and win Super Bowls. And now I have this amazing job with ESPN, but at the end of the day, our legacies are told by our kids.” And that’s exactly what he shares most proudly. So when Troy Aikman shared an update on one of his daughters’ careers, everyone saw it coming. And what we saw was a proud and powerful woman in the making, and a doting father.

Like a sizable chunk of parents this week, Troy Aikman is celebrating the next chapter of his kid’s life. Alexa Aikman just became a SMU graduate, and Troy kicked off the celebrations. But it wasn’t just one day, it was a whole celebration weekend. Troy took to IG to share a story capping off the graduation celebration that started a few days ago. The story’s a picture of Alexa with a graduation cake and a smile brighter than the fireworks on the cake. Troy captioned the story with a short and sweet, “Loved our weekend celebrating these college graduates. 🎓” As Troy Aikman has been posting back-to-back stories on his handle as tributes to Alexa, we don’t need to imagine just how proud he is. And as Alexa steps into a new trajectory in her life, the next part of her journey is already set.

Alexa Aikman now officially holds a degree in Business Administration and Management (BBA) from SMU. A few months ago, she announced her next career move with a LinkedIn post. Following my graduation from Southern Methodist University, I’m thrilled to announce I’ll be joining Andrews Distributing in Dallas, TX this July as a Business Analyst in their Flight Program. But this career move also has another interesting layer to it. Andrews Distributing is a beer and spirits distributing company. One has to wonder if Alexa is planning to gather experience for her dad’s new venture. Something that’s already gathering a lot of momentum by itself.

The ‘Eight – elite light beer’ boasts of just 90 calories, exactly as light as advertised. It also promises no additives, “no corn, rice or sweeteners.” The brand launched its slim cans just over two weeks ago. And as their official IG page put it, “Our new slim cans launched 2 weeks ago and they’re flying off shelves.” And EIGHT Brewing Co.’s CEO David Reny is all for this new can too. He recently said, “The launch of our slim can comes at the perfect time – just ahead of summer gatherings where convenience and style matter. – Whether you’re at the lake, the golf course, or a backyard cookout, the slim can is designed to go where our drinkers go. It’s a sleek, elevated package for a beer that doesn’t cut corners.” The timing is spot on, and David and Troy seem to have made a masterclass move in marketing.

Troy Aikman’s journey continues to inspire and engage. Whether he’s breaking down football plays, celebrating his family, or pushing his business ventures forward, this guy does it all in style.
