Though the couple never really officiated the reason for their split, they claimed that it was mutual and both parties still wanted the best for each other. But this past January, she faced the ultimate emotional shock when her mother passed away after a longstanding battle against cancer. Now that it’s been a month since her death, Gisele marked the anniversary with a heartwarming message.

It’s a sad day for the Brazilian supermodel, Gisele Bundchen today as she remembers her late mother a month after her demise. Her mother, Vnia Nonnenmacher, died at the age of 75 from cancer and left a void in Bundchen, who continues to try and recover from the loss. The supermodel said that she was relying on meditation, daily exercise, and an inclination towards wellness through nutrition to keep her going through the tough times of divorce and also losing her mother.

She put up a story on her Instagram account for her mother and captioned it, “1 mês sem ti mãezinha. Muitas saudades! 🤍” which translates to, “1 month without you mommy Miss you a lot! 🤍” Now that she is on a journey of self-healing and spirituality, the fans wish her all the very best for a life away from the spotlight of fame and riches that came with the life of a supermodel. Moreover, at the time of her death, Gisele brought the fans to tears with an emotional post for her mother, who was her role model all her life.

In a lengthy note to her beloved mother, Gisele wrote, “Beloved mom, It hurts to know that I won’t be able to hug you anymore, but I know that you will always be watching over us. You were an angel on earth, always helping everyone around you. I am so grateful to be your daughter and to have learned from you. Thank you for being the best role model of love, strength, compassion, courage, and grace. I will forever cherish the beautiful memories we shared and will live by the values you taught me. You will live forever through the many lives that you touched.” Thus, the fans poured in with a lot of wishes for the 43-year-old supermodel as she processed the deep loss of her mother while also going through a difficult split from Brady.
