Falling out with several figures made Brown the most disagreeable player in the NFL. However, the former wide receiver seems very accepting of that opinion. To prove that point further, Brown publicly stated his negative views on another coach, Sean Payton.

On September 26, 2023, the former NFL wide receiver dropped a post on X adding fuel to his already seething flames of controversy. Brown pointed his fingers at the Head Coach of the Denver Broncos, Sean Payton with an ‘I’m just stating facts’ tone.

He stated, “🤣 Sean Payton Most Suspended Coach in NFL All time still getting blew out without consequences….. pause“. This statement in fact seems quite suggestive of the previous beef between the two. Upset with Payton’s denial of his workout with the New Orleans Saints, Brown had released a diss track for the coach and the team. Thus, his grievances seem to remain.

Antonio Brown had to go through several suspensions and releases from the NFL on various occasions. In 2020, he faced an 8-game suspension for violating the league’s personal conduct policy. Mainly due to his on and off-field attitudes, he was released by teams like New England Patriots and Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Not to mention, such controversies also damaged the athlete’s reputation among the media and fans. Numerous assault charges and allegations have also impacted his career negatively. Therefore, all of these incidents raised understandable concerns about Brown’s mental health.
