Retired NFL WR Antonio Brown has made yet another savage jab and this time, Stephen Curry takes the hit. Recently, the Golden State Warriors star indicated that basketball may not be his only cup of tea as he has a potential future in politics. While he has no surefire interest yet, his association as a board member for an initiative by Michelle Obama offers an insight into his political leanings.

Antonio Brown roasts Stephen Curry’s presidential aspirations

On Tuesday, Stephen Curry said in his interview with CBS Mornings that he’d “maybe” run for president in the future to bring “meaningful change.” But Brown has an objection that he posted on X. He wrote, “Better turn into a 80 year old cracker to have a chance #CTESPN.”

With the ongoing presidential season, Stephen Curry’s interview touched the topic of politics wherein he was asked if he sees himself as a president for the United States or if he might be involved in any other political roles. His vague “maybe” is attributed with him wishing to make a change. He said, “If politics is a way that you can create meaningful change or if there’s another way outside of politics, you know, that we can do…” But the presidency speculation has also taken an entertaining turn as retired NBA players join in the vote by bringing football presidential prospects.

Following Curry’s speech on future presidency, the Gilbert Arenas podcast entered its own entertainment realm as the participants named potential president prospects. Gilbert Arenas casually said, “Antonio Brown or DeShawn Stevenson.” At the same time, Brandon Jennings voted, “Deion Sanders or OJ Simpson.”

As far as the relationship between Antonio Brown and Stephen Curry goes, it dates way back to 2019 when the pair was spotted together in Charlotte, North Carolina. It was during the 68th NBA All-Star Game on February 17, 2019 at Spectrum Center. And as for Brown’s dig at Curry for his age, the 36-year-old point guard isn’t in a hurry to enter politics as he confirmed with a laugh that 2028 is still way too early to contest.
