Just like any other star player, the 38-year-old NBA star has a good following of both lovers and haters. LeBron and the Lakers didn’t face off very well with the Houston Rockets as they fell into a 34-point deficit, and Skip Bayless is one of the later groups of people who revel in bringing him down. Skip Bayless trolls LeBron James for last game’s crushing loss

LeBron James and Anthony Davis have it upon their hands to carry the legacy of the Lakers. But with Davis sitting out the last game against the Rockets, James had a hard time in the last game, which fell in the favor of Skip Bayless. The 71-year-old trolled the Lakers’ performance with Davis, adding, “No amount of favorable calls will help LeBron tonight.“

It has been a dreary season for the LA Lakers. With 3-5, they’re 4th in the Pacific Division. They just emerged from a 108-107 defeat against the Miami Heat on Monday before this shattering loss from the Rockets. Star player Anthony Davis has sustained a hip adductor injury and sat out the last game. Meanwhile, LeBron James scored 30 points and three blocks.

Despite the dismal season, head coach Darvin Ham says he’s still proud of his guys, who have come a long way from last season to “this year with this returning core and the new collection of players navigating injuries mixing and matching different lineups.” But sadly enough, Skip Bayless isn’t taking the bait because this loss is only bringing him closer to justifying his views on the NBA star. 

Skip Bayless’ persistent trolls and judgment 

Anyone who follows Skip Bayless knows LeBron James isn’t on his favorite list of basketball players. Interestingly, Skip Bayless seems to document every mistake that the MVP makes, from accusing him of chucking 3-pointers to missing free throws. 

Ever since LeBron James played with the Miami Heat, he became a target for Skip Bayless, who went on to say that it should have been Dwayne Wade who should receive more credit than James. In 2014, he spit more fire when he opined that Johnny Manziel would have been “even bigger in Cleveland than James.“

The good thing is LeBron James is mature enough not to incite drama with public responses to Skip Bayless’ criticisms. Hopefully, the NBA champion will bury Skip Bayless’ criticism and prepare for the next game against the Phoenix Suns on Friday.
