Bryce Young is copping some hate with his recent form. The Carolina Panthers QB is not having a great rookie season with the side. His lackluster performances have come under the scanner for being unable to give his side anything to cheer about. After fans have lost their patience with the youngster, he’s now getting called everything under the sun.

Recently, NFL fans have started calling him a “bust”. This comes in after Carolina loses yet another game to the struggling Chicago Bears. The Bears have a dismal record throughout this season and haven’t had a potent defense. The loss means that they are playing catch-up for the playoff berth. Young’s poor performances come under fire from the Undisputed hosts while there was one NFL star who stood his ground. While the clock is ticking now for the 2021 Heisman Trophy winner, he has a former NFL star’s backing.

Undisputed host Skip Bayless recently covered the trolling of Bryce Young. When Skip Bayless asked Keyshawn Johnson – his co-host if Young was a bust, the 3X Pro-Bowler stood firm with his stance. Johnson stated- “No, first and foremost Skip, I’ll never use the word bust. Because you worked your tail so hard in college or High school, whatever the case may be. …So I’ll never deem someone a bust.”

Johnson’s support comes as a breath of fresh air as the Jersey No. 9 player continues to struggle. The bust chants are rampant and continue to grow amidst the Panthers season. The former WR also avoided calling the young star a bust wherein he pointed out the issue with his size. In the era of social media, where trolling takes the better of players, it’s great to see Johnson’s comments. However, Young needs to find form if he wishes to be not labeled as a bust.

With no interceptions and no touchdowns, he was greeted by a chant of being called a “bust”. The 22-year-old is playing his debut season with the side and still finding his feet in the league. In the era of many talented QBs, Young has yet to open his account.
