It’s a seeking season for the Browns who need to find a rookie QB before the team heads to the next game against the Pittsburgh Steelers. According to a Twitter update, RGIII suggested that the “Browns should sign him and make him the starting QB this season following Deshaun Watson’s season-ending injury.” The 33-year-old said, “I still run a 4.3 40 time.” He played one season with the Cleveland Browns in 2016. The Browns are already checking out other prospects and fans are highly curious about how far RGIII’s request would take him.

In their last 33-31 victory against the Ravens, Deshaun Watson sustained a throwing showing injury in the first half of the game. Although the 28-year-old star QB played for the remainder of the game, he had to undergo immediate surgery after the game. But he’s expected to return to the field in 2024. As for his injury, Watson said, “Hurt about it… But I’m going to make sure that I’m doing whatever I can to be beneficial for the team while not actually being on the field with them and also prepping for the next year.” Amidst all this, Browns have settled their next pick for the QB position already.

Amidst potential prospects and pressure from the upcoming Steelers game, the Cleveland Browns have decided to take their rookie QB Dorian Thompson-Robinson to fill Watson’s spot. For some, the decision might seem a little drastic considering that it’s the starting year for Dorian Thompson-Robinson who has 130 yards and three interceptions. But Stefanski is confident in his player saying, “For us, obviously we did a ton of work on him coming out. He’s played a lot of football (at UCLA), he’s very athletic, can make plays… Has a very good understanding of what we do, of our offense, and those types of things. He’s a young player that I think will just continue to get better.”
