During her appearance on May 8th’s Jimmy Kimmel Live, Glaser shed light on the casual sexism she encountered during Sunday night’s Tom Brady Roast. She recounted a telling moment backstage where the disparity in treatment based on gender was glaringly apparent.

“I was one of two women on the dais backstage, and our room, literally everyone’s rooms have their name on them, and ours just said ‘Female’ on it,” Glaser recalled. “It was an intimidating thing to walk into, but yeah.” As Glaser bravely speaks out about her experience, her revelation shows the subtle yet pervasive nature of the ongoing sexism in the entertainment industry.

Despite making strides toward gender equality, incidents like these serve as stark reminders of the work that still needs to be done. However, her interview also revealed the untold jokes Glaser had on Brady, that she was about to deliver, but had to cut it down later.

Glaser was about to criticize Brady for the overworked appearance of his face by comparing him to a Ken doll. “Seriously, slow down,” she read. “What’s going on with your cheeks? You look like a Ken doll that was microwaved. You love deflating things, so stop it.”
