Tom Brady is the King. He is the NFL GOAT, but his empire transcends the football boundaries. After retiring from the sport, he embarked on a new chapter in his life. Now, he’s Tom Brady, the Businessman. With stakes in WNBA’s Las Vegas Aces, and Major League Pickleball’s Las Vegas Night Owls, he made his plans clear to have a say in different sports.

One such investment was Birmingham City FC. With 3.33% shares, he is a minority stakeholder. But the sports person inside of him is still alive. It was on full display on the 16th of September when he was in England. His team beat the League One rival, Wrexham, by 3-1. The athlete stood tall over Hollywood stars, Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney, who own Wrexham. After the game, the GOAT hyped his team on Instagram.

Posting photos from the game, TB12’s caption was more captivating. It read, “What a great night to remember in Birmingham. Of course, our dreams are bigger than one game but last night was a glimpse into everything we want to accomplish with this team and community.” Not only his investments, but his friendships also transcend boundaries. Tom Brady was seen enjoying the game with another goat, David Beckham.

The game itself was exciting. Wrexham drew the first blood with Jack Marriot’s goal after 3 minutes. But Birmingham City FC equalized it in the first half itself, courtesy Jay Stansfield’s goal. He later took them ahead with another goal in the 53rd minute. Tomoki Iwata took them ahead with the 3rd goal. A win is a win.

And TB12 had the last laugh. He was also quite vocal during the buildup for the game.

Tom Brady replies to Eli Manning before the soccer game

Before the game, Tom Brady’s old NFL rival Eli Manning took a jibe at him. Dressed in a Wrexham t-shirt, the QB teased the goat by tweeting, “Now I can beat @TomBrady in football and fútbol! Go @Wrexham_AFC!” However, fierce like his playing days, TB12 gave an epic reply. It was a bit personal, too.

He tweeted a video wearing a Birmingham City sweater. Brandishing one of his 7 Super Bowl trophies, he said that he was unable to find the other 6. He later requested the Wrexham fans to learn NFL history as well. Manning, who won 2 Lombardi Trophies, wouldn’t be laughing after Monday’s result. The game was fun for one more reason as well.

Supporters of Tom Brady’s rival club gave him a ‘Wrexham Welcome’, chanting “Who the f—, who the f—, who the f—— hell are you? Who the f—— hell are you?” All is well now. The game is over and Brady is surely enjoying the win!
