Finally, it’s time for some relaxation and rejuvenation. For 6-7 straight months, Pat McAfee and other analysts were busy finding scoops and bits of the NFL world. Be it trade, injury, or performance, everything was in question. They discussed all the pieces of information. Now it’s time to sit back and watch, release their boy out, and enjoy this moment. It started in Indianapolis, his favorite city.

McAfee played for the Colts his entire NFL career (2009 to 2016). He retired as a legend. On March 20, he rented out Pins Indy, a bowling and other games destination with his boys. The analyst even watched basketball games, followed by playing pinball, Jenga, foosball, and even some duckpin bowling. So, it was just a time well spent together among the boys.

He also shared an Instagram story with the caption, “It’s going well.. everybody’s bets are just fine.” With that, Pat McAfee also posted a photo with the producer Ty Schmit, revealing their March Madness plans. It’s craziness going at its peak.

This was his latest move for the March Madness. It came on the same day after the Colts revealed their tribute to the punter/kickoff specialist. But this time, they did not choose his NFL clips. Instead, they chose clips from their college football days at West Virginia Football. Pat McAfee also made an all-time scoring record (384 points) and All-American Honors in his senior year.

Since there is no action in the football world, the ESPN analyst has turned his attention to basketball. He is looking closely at the college teams. But the situation at the Indianapolis team has left him heartbroken. It’s sad!

Pat McAfee disappointed with HC’s move

Three years of football at West Virginia University helped shape the legend’s life. It’s the reason he loves everything related to them. However, he had to endure back-to-back heartbreaks. Almost all analysts predicted that the WV Mountaineers would be selected for the NCAA Tournament, but the committee ultimately rejected them.

WVU HC Darian DeVries’s exit despite having 4 years left on his contract, hurt him. He even expressed his feelings on the Pat McAfee show, saying, “(Darian) is public enemy No. 1 right now at West Virginia. This guy became the coach at West Virginia less than a year ago. I met him at (football coach) Rich (Rodriguez’s) press conference and he was a cool dude. Thought he was going to do some special things with West Virginia.” The pain didn’t stop there.

After the head coach left, everyone was concerned about his son, Tucker DeVries. Last November, his NIL deal was worth $1.1 million. He even averaged 14.9 points per game with 47.35 from three in 8 games. But the shoulder injury forced him to step aside.

Overall, he earned $125k for each game. But now, he is also planning to move on with his father. If that happens, they will lose their superstar even before fully accepting him. It’s one of the top jobs in the college basketball scene. Fans are excited.
