Deion Sanders is an enigma when it comes to sports. He has enthralled individuals with his game and competence since time immemorial. There’s no award that the decorated player didn’t receive during his illustrious career. Such has been his dominance that Deion Sanders scaled both the NFL and MLB worlds. He won 2 SBs playing in the NFL and also made an MLB appearance in 1992. But even with a highly successful career, his personal life has been full of ups and downs.

Amidst balancing his playing and coaching career, Deion Sanders has been a part of many relationships, the most recent being with the American TV personality Tracey Edmonds.

How did Tracey Edmonds and Deion Sanders meet?

It was as if fate wanted Tracey Edmonds and Deion Sanders to end up together. The pair first met 11 years ago in 2012 during a movie premiere. Tracey, who was still in the nascent phase of movie production, had a brief meeting with Deion Sanders. After several months of no contact. The pair once again met while attending a business meeting. Two meetings were enough to build attraction and the pair instantly clicked.

The birth of a TV series idea gave rise to a serious relationship between the 2X SB champion and the executive producer of Mr. Right. It was then they decided to enter into a relationship, however not associating it with anything serious. Coach Prime had already created a successful sporting career and was looking for coaching prospects. Tracey had also established herself as a prolific producer by co-hosting the TV show “Extra” between 2014-2017. Her hosting duties even won her an Emmy award!

Looking at Deion Sanders and Tracey Edmonds’s decade-long relationship 

While none of the pair has come forward to cite any proceedings for marriage, Edmonds is currently Deion Sanders’s fiance. It seems like the duo loves the idea of dating maybe for more than a decade and putting pressure on their relationship. Deion and his partner Edmonds are both impressionable personalities. Both are successful in their fields and carry their own unique charm.

Since then they were spotted several times together while also engaging in some PDA. As reported by Vibe magazine back in 2012, the couple were in love and didn’t shy from expressing the same through their public affection gestures. Not only did Edmonds tweet a picture with Sanders, she also attended Shilo Sanders, Deion’s oldest son’s graduation. But it was not all simple for them, their relationship which is closing in on more than a decade has had some interesting twists.

When it comes to relationships, Edmonds is the ideal match for Sanders. In their decade-old relationship, Edmonds highlighted the trust factor with the celebrated player. Speaking about length in one of the interviews on Steve’s TV Show. Tracey highlighted Deion’s trustworthiness as one of the reasons for enjoying her relationship with the HC.

When struggling with some serious health concerns earlier this year, Tracey Edmonds stood behind him during those tough times. Furthermore, she is a regular when it comes to supporting her beau during the matches. She shared Instagram pictures of herself sitting beside Sanders and gave major couple of goals with her endearing messages.

In one of the beaming pictures, she wrote “Not leaving this spot until it’s time for #CoachPrime to walk up out of here which we hope will be very soon! Sending everyone love!” Her immense faith in God and prayers came in good effect during one of Deion Sanders’ surgeries. When Colorado’s godfather was getting blood clots in his legs fixed. It was then that Edmonds sent her followers another message on Instagram.

She penned her words saying “We are so grateful for the healing power of God and for all of our prayer warriors! It was a long, but successful day! #CoachPrime @deionsanders is resting and doing great tonight after his surgery! Thank you, Lord! Thank you, Fam! We love you! 

Are Sanders and Edmonds ringing wedding bells anytime soon?

Sanders and Edmonds have been together for a significant period. Dating for a decade, the pair got engaged back in 2019. Edmonds shared the news on her official Instagram saying “We’re 8 years in, made it through the storms TOGETHER, and will be spending the rest of our lives TOGETHER.”  However, despite the engagement, the pair look serious towards their careers and haven’t yet thought about moving into marriage.
