The world of the NFL lost yet another gem to mankind’s worst enemy- time. With each passing day taking more lives than yesterday, life is getting scarier. We lose more and more legends than we gain and today is another one of those days. One of the men who carried the sport during the 1960s, the early days of the NFL, has breathed his last and we’re all the more saddened for it.
The Giants have witnessed a long line of legends ever since their establishment in 1925. Names like Charlie Conerly, Brad Van Pelt, and Tuffy Leemans are some of the few that have been inscribed on the Giants’ wall. There have been many names that have come and gone, but none have made as big of an impact as this QB. As the night draws closer, we’re forced to look to the stars and reminisce about the loss of the legendary Norm Snead. Hopefully, his soul finds peace as we remember his name and legacy today.
