Regarded as one of the greatest NFL head coaches, the recent defeat came as a crushing blow to Belichick. The Cowboys’ defeat is his worst game record as a head coach in a coaching career that spans over two decades. Sharpe feels Bill Belichick’s ego is to blame

The retired Denver Broncos tight end gives his take on the latest Patriots defeat and trolls Bill Belichick in a YouTube video by ESPN. Sharpe said about Belichick and the then-Patriots quarterback Tom Brady, “No matter how great the dynamic is, there’s going to be a point in time that I want more credit and it can’t be 50-50. 50-50 is not good enough when you’re dealing with two guys that have the massive egos that these two men have.

Judging from the performance of Belichick’s Patriots after Tom Brady left in 2019, Shannon Sharpe realizes that it was the 7-time Super Bowl champion who has been giving Bill Belichick all the credit. The head coach enjoyed the taste of victory as a head coach with Tom Brady on the team from 2000 to 2019.

That 17 star General in Tom Brady that made everything smooth and him finding out the hard way is not as easy as he ever thought it would be.”

The season isn’t looking bright for Bill Belichick and the Patriots with 1-3. But the last game with the Cowboys marks Belichick’s worst season game record as a head coach. Following the defeat, Bill Belichick said, “At this point, I think we’re a lot better team than we showed and that’s what it was. We’ve got a lot of work to do.
