Aaron Rodgers was seen back on The Pat McAfee Show, and this time, he had something interesting to say about AJ Hawk’s eye injury. The former Green Bay Packers linebacker stole the attention when he appeared on the podcast wearing black glasses to hide an eye patch. With Aaron Rodgers on the show, things got off to a hot start as he revealed his take on Hawk’s eye injury to Pat McAfee.

Aaron Rodgers and AJ Hawk played together for the Packers for nine seasons from 2006 to 2014. So, things took on a hilarious turn when the starting QB of the New York Jets commented about his ex-teammate’s injury. Despite that, Aaron Rodgers brought up Laura, the wife of his former Packers teammate, and highlighted the enduring chemistry between the couple, who are parents to four kids. But according to him, AJ Hawk “blaming his injury on the kids seems like a real low-hanging proof.” This hilarious comment led Pat McAfee to figure out the big picture that Laura could be the one to be blamed for Hawk’s eye injury.

As for his eye patch, it was just a light-hearted joke pulled on his former teammate after AJ Hawk explained that his eye injury came from his son Axel, who poked his eye “six inches deep” with his thumb and “chopped off part of (his) eye” with his nails. But lately, Aaron Rodgers seems to be in good spirits, providing laughter to his fans. Could a potential return be the reason behind it?

Three important events await the 39-year-old NFL star as the year comes to a close: Thanksgiving, his birthday, and Christmas. He stated on The Pat McAfee Show, “I’ll be back there full-time real soon, real soon. That’s always been the plan once we got to Thanksgiving, to be back there full-time. It’s the holiday season – Thanksgiving, my birthday (December 2) and Christmas. Three in a row.

According to Pat McAfee, “This man is currently defeating an Achilles surgery faster than any human in the history of Achilles surgeries.” As much as his return is anticipated, he has hopefully prepared himself enough to face the expectations of his fans.
