The Dallas Cowboys started their game in Western New York with a secured playoff berth and aspirations for the top of the NFC. However, they ended up disappointed, losing 31-10 to the Buffalo Bills, providing talk show hosts with more material than the combined content of the past two months combined. 

Skip Bayless, a fervent supporter of the Dallas Cowboys and the host of FS1’s Undisputed,  has never shied away from expressing his affection for the team. However, following their blowout loss on Sunday, Bayless had a lot to express. Only this time, it was everything but appreciation.

The Buffalo Bills, after a season of ups and downs, seem to be hitting their stride at a crucial time. Following an upset win against the Kansas City Chiefs, the Bills dominated the Dallas Cowboys with a 31-10 victory at home on Sunday. This turnaround has quickly transformed the Bills from a playoff long shot to a team that opponents may want to avoid in January. But when it comes to the Cowboys, even their superfan seems to have lost faith in their performance. On the latest episode of ‘Undisputed,’ co-hosted by Keyshawn Johnson and Michael Irvin, Bayless went on a rant, expressing how wrong he was about the Cowboys. According to him, they played “the most shameful big late season games in cowboy history,” and got exposed as “ frauds.”

Dallas suffered a significant setback against Buffalo, largely due to the stellar performance of the Bills running back James Cook. Cook’s career day included rushing for 179 of his 221 total yards and scoring two touchdowns. This loss served as a stark reminder that overcoming hurdles in the NFC East doesn’t guarantee success, especially when the NFC road, particularly for the Cowboys, runs through the San Francisco 49ers. Most Cowboys fans expressed their dismay, but Bayless took it to the next level. 

Bayless trashes yet another Cowboy jersey 

In the aftermath of their resounding defeat, avid Cowboys supporter Skip Bayless once again recorded a video symbolically discarding his Micah Parsons jersey into the trash. While this dramatic act has become a repetitive spectacle, its impact seems to be waning.

The frustration among Cowboys fans is warranted, given the Bills’ dominance in various aspects, accumulating 351 total yards compared to Dallas’s 195, with an impressive 266 rushing yards. Dak Prescott, initially a frontrunner for the MVP title, had a lackluster performance, completing 21 of 34 passes for 134 yards, with no touchdowns and an interception. The MVP race has undoubtedly taken a different turn. While acknowledging Dallas’s undeniable disappointment, one might consider witnessing Bayless discarding more jerseys to underscore the team’s letdown.
