Brock Purdy just got somebody losing belief in him. As the game kicked off at Levi’s Stadium between the top two teams of their respective conferences, the San Francisco 49ers fans hope for another victory against the Baltimore Ravens for the 7th consecutive winning streak. But the 49ers seem to be on the losing side, at least for the first half as the Ravens lead their Christmas game.

Skip Bayless drops a possible scenario for Brock Purdy

Just a week after Tom Brady and Christian McCaffrey picked Brock Purdy as the MVP choice on the Let’s Go Podcast, Skip Bayless is voicing his thoughts on social media again and this time the subject is the 49ers QB. The Undisputed host tweeted that Brock Purdy could be the “49ers greatest strength” and turn into their “greatest weakness.

The 49ers aren’t particularly faring well on the field against the Ravens who lead 16-12 at halftime. And it’s true that Brock Purdy is the team’s strength. He’s leading with 3,800 yards and 29 touchdowns this season. But right now, the game isn’t in his favor and the result of the game lies in uncertain hands.

The Christmas Day game has seen three interceptions from the 49ers QB in the first half who had been the star of every game this season. This is the first time that Brock Purdy ever threw three interceptions in his football career. He was picked off by Kyle Hamilton twice and Marlon Humphrey once in just the first 30 minutes of the game.

This game also marks the third time that Brock Purdy threw more than one interception this season. The MVP talk might undergo some shaking up but the Ravens’ solid defense can’t be ignored. Hopefully, there won’t be more mishaps that could hinder his chances of the MVP title or turn Skip Bayless’ statement into reality. Fans continue to wait with bated breath as the game progresses.
