On the latest episode of the ‘Undisputed’ show, Skip Bayless presented his opinion in the famous debate of Brady versus Mahomes as the greatest quarterback. This question has stoked the fans for a long time now and maybe with Bayless’ argument, the debate can finally be put to rest.

Bayless fiercely said, “This whole conversation for me just gets silly. And yeah, maybe I should disqualify myself. I’m a Brady fan, I always have been. I do not know him personally, so it’s not a personal connection whatsoever. I’m just looking at the facts and the body of work.”

He further added, “And to me it’s like, the Brady hate is alive and well or that Brady jealousy and Brady resentment. It’s the whole internet age of who’s got next, forget about the past, it’s only about the present. But if we start looking hard at bodies of work, I say that, in 10 Super Bowls that Tom Brady played, not one time did he play remotely or as poorly as Patrick played ironically against Brady in Patrick’s second Super Bowl. He just stunk in that game. You can’t show me one of Tom’s 10 Super Bowls in which he stunk like that, played nearly that poorly.”

With Bayless’ opinion sticking with a lot of fans, here’s a look at what the numbers say about all the times that the two quarterbacks have faced off against each other.

It feels almost illegal to compare Brady’s 20 years of experience to Mahomes’ 4 seasons with the Chiefs. At this moment in time, no player’s even close to achieving Brady’s greatness. With that being said, if there is anyone who could very well be a Brady-like QB, it will be none other than Mahomes, given the right amount of time. But as of now, the number 12 jersey will continue to soar in the highest of skies while players like Mahomes try to lift their feet off the ground.
