The retired Dallas Cowboys legend had an interesting take on the Jets head coach, Robert Saleh.

Amidst a poor season record of 4-4, naysayers have called out the head coach. However, the coach looked so stressed during the game that even Aikman took note of it.

In the last game between the Jets and the Chargers, the Jets suffered a terrible performance and fell into their worst defeat this season with 6-27. Troy Aikman couldn’t hide his frustration any longer as he expressed his opinion on the Jets’ performance on Monday Night Football. He said, “I’m surprised Robert Saleh’s beard hasn’t turned gray tonight.

The Monday night game saw Derius Davis returning a punt 87 yards for a TD while Austin Ekeler ran for two scores. The Chargers shone in their defense, making it difficult for Jets star QB Zach Wilson to charge through the field. He was sacked eight times, leading to a 6-27 defeat. Chargers wide receiver Keenan Allen completed 77 yards, reaching his 10,000 career receiving yards.

Zach Wilson managed to secure 33 of 49 for 263 yards in the game. Talking about Wilson in a post-game conference, Saleh said, “Was it his best game? Obviously not. Was it his first game? No, I’m not going to say it was even close to his worst game. I think the entire offense could have been better.
