There are many great names when someone asks about the NFL quarterbacks. Kansas City Chiefs‘ starting quarterback, Patrick Mahomes. Philadelphia Eagles‘ dual-threat QB1, Jalen Hurts. Baltimore Ravens‘ Lamar Jackson. And Buffalo Bills‘ Josh Allen.

Now, the Indianapolis Colts QB Daniel Jones is starting to join this elite group. He not only takes the Colts to an impressive 3-1 start but also thrives under the leadership of HC Shane Steichen. Even displaying a strong play when the FOX NFL Sunday turned to light-hearted jokes on a QB’s role, the mood quickly shifted to tension.
During the discussion, former Giants‘ DE Michael Strahan and the former Steelers‘ QB Terry Bradshaw had a split assessment for a QB role. “Spent a lot of time with Daniel Jones in New York. Played a lot of golf with Daniel Jones, and his golf game is very good. That’s what the quarterbacks’ games are because quarterbacks don’t do much during the week. They don’t get hit like the rest of us,” Strahan said.

He was instantly interrupted by Bradshaw. “TB let me have my time,” Strahan gave a mouth-shutting reply to the 4-time Super Bowl champion. With this, Bradshaw seemed annoyed.

Bradshaw’s earlier encounters with co-hosts have been gaining much attention online. A few days back, Rob Gronkowski confirmed his return plan to the gridiron at the Fanatics Flag Football Classic in Saudi Arabia next March. To this, Bradshaw enquired about his weight. Gronkowski misunderstood the context and replied with “I’ve got to lose about 20 pounds just like you.” This led the entire studio to gasp.
Bradshaw, most famously known for fulfilling his QB duties with the Steelers, has carved out another lane after leaving football. He has made a name for himself as a co-host and a sports analyst on FOX NFL Sunday. He has been a key panelist for the talk show for the last 31 years. Earlier this year, he joined Curt Menefee as a co-host with analysts Howie Long, Michael Strahan, and Rob Gronkowski.

When Michael Strahan set Terry Bradshaw straight!
During a November 2024 episode of FOX NFL Sunday, Terry Bradshaw found himself apologizing live on air after a mix-up caused by co-host Michael Strahan stepping in. The situation began while the panel was discussing the Detroit Lions’ win over the Jacksonville Jaguars at Ford Field. Bradshaw turned to Rob Gronkowski but seemed to mistake him for a guest. He said, “The guy whose seat you’re sitting in right now, filling in for… Jimmy Johnson,” referring to the longtime coach-turned-commentator who recently took time off from the show.

Strahan quickly interrupted, saying, “He’s not filling in, he’s here all the time!” Gronkowski also weighed in and said, “Wow, yeah, I’m a part of the show, Terry!” Bradshaw soon realized his mistake and offered an apology. “Okay, I made a mistake. All right, all right, I apologize, Gronk, you know I love you,” he said. After that, Bradshaw continued with his point about Johnson, explaining, “Jimmy’s thing as a coach was, ‘Always respect your opponent.’ No matter how, you say, inferior, always respect your opponent and don’t ever give them hope.”
This wasn’t the first time either when Bradshaw had slipped up on the show. As reported by Irish Star, he once mixed-up quarterbacks Sam Darnold and Jared Goff during an episode on November 17. For Gronkowski, his role at FOX has been steady since he joined the network in 2019. He briefly left to return to the NFL with Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, where he earned his fifth Super Bowl. He retired again and came back to FOX in 2022, now appearing on both FOX NFL Sunday and FOX NFL Kickoff.
