On August 29, the greatest quarterback of all time took to his Instagram account to share a cryptic story. The former Buccaneers player shared an image on his Instagram story with a quote that read, “The freer I get, the higher I go, the higher I go, the more I see, the more I see, the less I know, the less I know, the more I’m free.” Brady captioned the story with a heart and folded hands emoji.

On August 28, ESPN’s Seth Wickersham shed light on how the MVP might face some strict limits on his broadcast access if he gets the green light to become a partial owner of the Raiders. Brady was all set to accompany Kevin Burkhardt as the lead color analyst in Fox’s No. 1 NFL booth, starting on September 8.

Brady signed a $375 million worth 10-year contract with Fox Sports, making it one of the richest broadcasting contracts in sports history. But the recent buzz about his Raiders’ ownership situation has potentially thrown cold water on the former player’s current deal and future plans with Fox. So, what’s actually going on between Tom Brady and the Raiders?

Tom Brady eager to be a team owner

Imagine the journey from being a player to becoming a team owner. Well, that’s the exact thing happening with the former Tampa Bay Buccaneers QB. Tom Brady struck a deal with the Las Vegas Raiders owner, Mark Davis, in May 2023. Soon after bidding goodbye to his career as a QB, the MVP made it clear he wanted to partially own the Raiders.

Brady is eyeing up a minority stake of approx 10% of the franchise. His pursuit of ownership has spanned nearly three years. However, the bid is still in limbo as it lacks approval from the NFL’s finance committee. And it is just impossible for Brady to become an official owner without the green light from the NFL.

While fans are eager to see the Super Bowl champion start his broadcast journey, things seem a little difficult. So, with Tom Brady trying to juggle two things at a time, will he be able to score a touchdown? Or does destiny have some other plans for him?
