With Tom Brady being committed to 5% of the Raiders’ ownership, his team may not be having a great season so far. Going through a five-game losing streak, the Raiders find themselves at the bottom of their division. Hanging onto little hopes of making it to the playoffs, the Raiders decided to pull the plug on their offensive coaches after the Bengals’ defeat.

As reported by ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the Raiders have fired offensive coordinator Luke Getsy, offensive line coach James Cregg and their QB coach Rich Scangarello. All of them were in their first season in Las Vegas. But now it looks like the silver and black are looking for a new pair of offensive coaches less than a year after hiring them.

Although the Raiders did manage to score four opening drive TDs in their last five games in the NFL. Their dismal record elsewhere may have led to such a decision in Las Vegas. Within that similar time frame, the Raiders only managed to score 4 TDs over 50 scoring drives. Well, those numbers get much worse as three of those end zone scores came in the five minutes of those clashes. The Raiders, during those 5 games, were already trailing by an average of 20 points. This means those TDs didn’t offer them any value whatsoever.

Even the Raiders head coach Antonio Pierce, who is feeling the pressure himself, said, “It wasn’t a good day in the office. It goes for all of us. I mean, it’s a group effort. It’s a team effort. We’ve all got to find a way to do better.” Well, if he doesn’t find a way to improve the Raiders. Then, Pierce’s first job as head coach in the NFL might not even last till the end of the regular season.

As for Getsy, it isn’t the first time he has been fired. Going back to January, he was sacked by the Bears after staying as their OC in 2022 and 2023. He now leaves a Raiders offense that averages only 18 points per game. While Tom Brady’s Raiders look for a replacement in their offensive coaching department. Brady was left bamboozled upon hearing about his ex-wife, Gisele Bundchen’s pregnancy last week.

It just wasn’t something that was on his radar. It was last month when Bundchen shared the news with a baby expected early in 2025. As Brady continues to stay focused on his career and new investment as an owner of an NFL franchise. This news may have caught him by surprise while he navigates through his investment in the NFL.
