His younger daughter, Alexa (aka Ally) Aikman, completed her high school diploma in May 2021. With a desire to achieve her dreams, she took admission to Southern Methodist University (SMU) – Cox School of Business. It’s often said that leaders are born, not made. On Saturday, May 17, he visited SMU to attend his daughter’s graduation. All smiles while posing, Troy Aikman looked every bit a dapper dad with the navy blue checkered suit and sunglasses. The Aikman family’s kids have grown up. Just a few days ago, the Cowboys legend shared an IG story about his nephew, Reid Powell, who completed his graduation from OU Law. And his daughter, Ally, has also worked with many businesses during her college years. From January to May last year, she worked as a spring intern at Mary Beth Wager Interiors.

In 2023, Ally Aikman worked as a marketing intern at Andrews Distributing in Texas. She can give some advice to her legendary father, who is coming with an update about his clean-label beer brand, EIGHT Elite Light Lager. David Reny, CEO of EIGHT Brewing Co.made the announcement, “Whether you’re at the lake, the golf course, or a backyard cookout, the slim can is designed to go where our drinkers go. “It’s a sleek, elevated package for a beer that doesn’t cut corners.” That’s interesting.

Brands like Bud Light and Michelob Ultra dominate the billion-dollar industry. But Troy Aikman promises authenticity. The beer, with 90 calories, 2.6 grams of carbs, 4.0% ABV, and no additives or sweeteners, uses only three simple ingredients—water, malt, and hops, in its brewing process.

While launching his beer brand in 2022, the Cowboys legend praised it by saying, “a beer built for people who care about what they put in their bodies.” But his brand EIGHT is in a stiff lawsuit with Ravens QB Lamar Jackson. With well-read people from different sectors as his family members, he can definitely save money and expect more commitment.
