Former NFL legends Shannon Sharpe and Chad Johnson seem to be quite close. The two have interacted often and grown quite close through the show ‘Nightcap’ hosted by Sharpe. The two have discussed diverse topics like celebrities, dating, and not to mention personal relationship preferences.

Chad Johnson specifically seems to be quite interested in Sharpe dating someone. He tried to set him up with Kim Kardashian. However, after that failed, the former wide receiver did not give up. Instead, he came up with a new insane idea for Shannon Sharpe.

On October 24, 2023, the Nightcap Show posted one of the most intriguing interactions between Sharpe and Johnson. The legends literally discussed going to a  str*p club! It was Chad Johnson who initiated the conversation. When he knew that Sharpe had never been on a str*p club date with someone he had just met, he stated that Sharpe was alive, but he was not living.

However, Shannon Sharpe has never been to a str*p club in about 16 or 17 years. Amusingly enough, he only ever went there to get chicken wings! That’s when Johnson suggested they go to Atlanta and get girls. To persuade Sharpe, he stated, “You work a lot. You are doing a lot for a lot of people. You need a mental reset; you need some relaxation.”

Sharpe then narrated his own relaxation schedule when he got to Atlanta and straight up turned down Johnson’s proposal. “Now, I want us to do stuff, but going to the str*p club. And that ain’t one thing I want me and her to do together.” This rejection was right after rejecting the idea of dating Kim Kardashian. However, Johnson still seemed to support the idea.

Chad Johnson believes that Shannon Sharpe and Kim Kardashian would be a great match for each other. He thinks that because both celebrities are quite focused and invested in their own careers and lives. But, most importantly, because Kardashian recently announced that she is looking for an older man.

Johnson stated that it would not hurt Sharpe to at least try. Nevertheless, Sharpe rejected the idea because he did not want to be Kardashian’s ex-husband Kanye West‘s target of a diss track. Johnson genuinely thought of them as a power couple. Well, what do you think?
