Chasing a slice of history, they eked out a one-point win against the New York Liberty, becoming the first team to win consecutively in 21 years. And they have one man to thank for their stunning victory.

He’s not only the minority owner of the side but also gives motivation to the side, his words and presence are a great factor in boosting the team’s morale. As per the WNBA rules, both the Las Vegas Aces and the New York Liberty were involved in a five-match series, and the winner would take home the trophy. After the Aces managed an unassailable lead, they were ultimately crowned champions. Pleased with the performance, Brady shared the same on his Instagram.

After retiring from the NFL, Brady started showing interest in other sports. Being a sports-lover and flagbearer for women’s empowerment, the former QB brought a stake in the Las Vegas Aces. After the Aces’ win, he took to Instagram to share the victory. He wrote “So proud of these women and this organization. Took everyone’s best shot all year long and never stumbled.”

Brady took his job seriously and was often seen on the sidelines. After being involved in the scheme of things, he also sent out a wake-up call when the side won their first game of the series. Though it was a close game as the Vegas side won by a single point, the win would go a long way in motivating several young women to take up the sport and go for glory! There’s a new realization that has met Tom Brady recently, as he highlighted the issue on his podcast.

Tom Brady now realizes that NFL players are dejected on the field

The NFL players often seem in an angry mood and are often watching the replay screens to look at the plays. For someone who played the sport for 23 years, Tom Brady has now got a realization. He understood why the NFL  players were always fuming and questioning the referee. He highlighted the issue on his recent episode of Let’s Go podcast. “There’s so much more context when you’re watching, [and] you have this TV, and they show every replay. On the field, you don’t see any of that. You’re seeing everything ground level,”

He also pointed out the difference between fans and players. How the crowd can get a reaction out of the players, especially when things are not going in their favor. He said about the same saying”I think when you’re a fan, you see obviously a lot, you hear a lot. The commentators are saying a lot. You have the score right there. You have the timeouts listed. Everything’s right there for you. It’s not necessarily like that when you’re a player. You’re just, you’re in the moment.”

Aces’ historic victory would motivate several other young women to represent their sides at the highest level. These are great signs for women’s sports going forward!
