The Kansas City Chiefs won their third straight Super Bowl appearance with Patrick Mahomes as the starting QB. In their last AFC Championship Game against the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday, the Chiefs secured a 17-10 victory with the 2x SB champion throwing for 241 yards with one touchdown. But the 2x SB champion’s celebratory post on his IG is giving rise to social media trolls. 

Time and again, comparisons have been drawn regarding Tom Brady and Patrick Mahomes as both have their respective illustrious careers. The 2x SB MVP posted a series of photos set to the tune of P. Diddy’s “Bad Boys For Life” after the win against the Ravens. He captioned the post with a single emoji of an alarm clock. But while some fans celebrated his win with him, some couldn’t help but troll his choice of song.

“Bad Boys For Life” is a trademark for Brady-Gronk duo and they’ve used it many times on their social media. Many fans still remember Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski’s celebratory video after their 2021 NFC Championship win. Seeing Mahomes’ post, a user on IG commented, “You are NOT [Tom] brady 💀🫵”

IG users are quick to troll Patrick Mahomes’ imitation of Tom Brady

After Mahomes’ recent IG post, a lot of comments poured in including several comments saying, “You aren’t Brady.” Another user trolled, “Dude thinks he’s brady.” Another even pointed out to the Mahomes-Kelce duo saying, “Bro ur not Brady, u and trav are not like Brady and gronk – don’t do all that.” One person also mentioned Mahomes’ choice of song saying, “Your not brady bro. Thats the goats song.”

However, the comments weren’t all bad. Some suggested that even though Brady has 5 more rings, Mahomes is getting close, saying, “he on his way.” Another fan encouraged him for his next SB appearance, saying, “One more!!! 💪💪💪.“

If Mahomes is truly imitating the NFL GOAT, he’ll have to somehow win the Super Bowl against the San Francisco 49ers because that’s what Tom Brady did after his IG post. Fingers crossed!
