“You Don’t Understand the Situation”: Disheartened by Giants’ Loss, Shannon Sharpe Echoes Robert Saleh’s Neglected Advice

Shannon Sharpe was disheartened as his side lost to the Jets in a New York Derby. All’s not going too well for the New York Giants as they are looking for some magic. The team’s down with confidence and their Derby clash ended up in another loss. The former tight end was keeping a close eye on the game and wasn’t impressed as his loved side lost to the Jets.

The giants are struggling to find form this current season. Their returns, after eight games, stand at 6 losses with just two wins. As for their counterparts, the Jets found some rhythm going into the competition with the victory. Sharpe also tweeted on the popular platform following the defeat and echoed Jets HC’s advice.

Shannon Sharpe- the long standing Giants admirer was hurt recently. His much-admired side New York Giants lost a close game to their opposite number Jets on Monday. It was during the early morning hours that the teams were having a close game. However, with minutes to go, Jets came from behind to usher as champions. Sharpe was crestfallen and took to the platform X to highlight the heartbreaking loss. Shannon echoed Saleh‘s words and remarked with “you don’t understand” in the tweet.

Week 8 might be a bit early to pass any judgements. But it does give a nosedive into the things to come forth. While Jets are still staying afloat with now 4 wins and 3 losses in the tournament. The Giants have a lot of catching up to do! Their season might just be over before it started as they lost another close match. Are Shannon’s hopes all but over as his side now stares down the barrel?

New York Giants loses the derby in a disparing loss

While the scoreline reads 13-10 in the Jets’ favor, the game was intensely fought between the two sides. New York Jets did stun their counterparts and hit them hard in the early phases of the game. Jets player hit their straps right from the word go, even Saleh with his animated gestures was helping his side eke out a hard fought win!

Shannon and several of Giants fans were robbed of a win. While Jets give nothing away, the Giants gave up after half time. Robert Saleh was impressed by his unit and showered praises for the team’s efforts, saying, “A lot of resilience from this group, it feels like it’s the mark of this group. It never feels like it’s out.” Giants’ defense was tested and they were out of energy at the end! It was a rare spectacle wherein the losing side DT came forth and praised the opposition. Justin Pugh was head over heels for his counterparts. “They stole one from us there at the end, this isn’t ‘stole one,’ we gave it away, too. Hats off to them. Yeah, just enough to get the win.”

It was a one way traffic after the hafl time as the Derby lived up to it’s hype! For Shannon, he needs to keep faith in his side. Hopefully, the Giants come up with a win in their next game and give some joy to the NFL HOF!
