Pat McAfee does pay Aaron Rodgers millions for appearance, for this particular reason

Pat McAfee, the absolutely blunt and passionate NFL host recently came under media scrutiny. This was due to the media reporting that A-Rod has earned nearly $1 million for his appearances on the host’s how. A-Rod has shared his vulnerable side on the show which left McAfee stunned! However, despite their closeness, The Pat McAfee Show host accepted that the NY Jets biggest recruit of the year did make over a million with the show for sure. He earlier reacted to the news saying “New York Post wrote an article about us AJ…Well, the headline is Pat McAfee pays Aaron Rodgers millions of dollars for his appearance.”

McAfee made no qualms about the story and indeed accepted it by putting forth a solid reason. Pat said on his show “Our company went from being valued, and I know this because I own the company, so I actually know this, our company went from being valued from anywhere between $2-$5 million a few years back, to like over $500 million,” By no means flexing his company’s fortunes, McAfee further said that all the people that helped with his business growth deserve to be paid handsomely. Aaron Rodger is a regular on the show and offers his insights. As for McAfee, he didn’t spare the journalist writing this news piece.

He called the news journalist a “rat” who published the inside news. Furthermore, Pat didn’t shy away from taking Andrew Marchand’s name and calling him out for his agendas. Hitting out at the backlash, McAfee summed up his frustration saying “I have always had the view that, if somebody is going to make money for us, that person is going to reap the benefit from it. New York Post talking about me giving Aaron Rodgers money for helping our company and investing in our company with his time, his effort, and his energy… people think that’s a hit piece.”

No one expected that a close friend of Pat, Rodgers would be paid millions just to appear on the show. Apparently, it is what it is and there’s no shying away from the fact that the injured player is making money aside from NY Jets for coming on the popular TV show.
