In an interesting situation of events, Houston and Philadelphia went head to head on Thursday. It was not just in one sport, but two. The Eagles went against the Texans, while the Phillies took on the Astros. The NFL franchise caught up with the game while in the locker room.

FOX Sports: MLB shared a video of the Philadelphia Eagles athletes watching the MLB World Series game. Phillies’ J. T. Realmuto made a near-hit in the bottom of the 9th, only to get caught by the Astros’ Chas McCormick. The moment left the football athletes beat. Safe to say, the catch broke their hearts.

The Astros clinched the victory over the Phillies by 3-2 at Citizens Bank Park in Philly. On the other hand, the Undefeated Philadelphia Eagles rallied over the Texans with a 29-17 sweep at the NRG Stadium in Houston. The NFL franchise’s win covered up for the MLB game’s gut-wrenching loss.

Houston Astros hit back at Phillies at the expense of Philadelphia Eagles’ Jalen Hurts

It was a crazy Thursday for the Philly sports fans. But the Houston Astros has the last laugh in both the pitch and social media. The Astros’ Twitter account discovered a photo of the current Philadelphia sports star dressed in the MLB franchise’s attire. The picture is from Hurts’ first season in 2020 when he frequently donned Astros clothing off the game.

To provide some background, Hurts is a Houston-born and played high school football in Channelview, Texas. However, he made sure to set his allegiance to both cities.

It has been a crazy week for Jalen Hurts, who went to his hometown as an Eagle and stood undefeated.
