Hardcore football fans can rejoice because Travis Kelce is no longer in the news for his relationship with Taylor Swift. Finally, he broke a record that made him one of the best tight ends in the league right now. The Chiefs’ TE remains humble about his accomplishment and says he’s achieved “LeBron Stats.” Maybe he is referring to his presence in the NBA or the fact that he has scored over 39,000 points in his career.

The Kelce brothers, Jason and Travis, appeared in a new episode of their New Heights podcast and talked about the Chiefs TE’s record. It seems Kelce is used to praise by now and doesn’t want a pat on his back every time he reaches a “whole number” stat.

Travis Kelce is breaking records

The game against the Las Vegas Raiders came as a milestone for Travis Kelce, and it started when he made that 27-yard catch. After making that catch, Kelce has officially surpassed 11,000 career receiving yards. Jason Kelce pointed out that his younger brother became the fastest TE in NFL history to reach this milestone in his 154th game. The big brother pointed out that Travis Kelce is the only Chiefs player who has achieved this milestone.

“At this point, it’s just you know, it’s cool, but we don’t need to say congrats every time I get to a whole number,” Travis Kelce told his older brother. Maybe this is normal for him, and he’s just bored with breaking records. Travis thanked his teammates for getting him there and said, “This is a LeBron stat though at this point,” not undermining the hard work that he has done to achieve this.

The Chiefs shared this achievement on Instagram, which got Taylor Swift all fired up.

The brothers agreed that they didn’t care about stats but brought up someone who does. Of course, he talked about Taylor Swift, who “likes” his pictures and the stats the NFL posted about Travis Kelce.

Swift liked the announcement made by the Chiefs on Instagram when Travis broke this record. “Thanks, Tay, I appreciate you.” The brothers started joking about whether Taylor Swift has enjoyed “tight-end receiving yards.” “I don’t know if she’s a fan of tight ends or not,” joked Travis Kelce.
