Tom Brady may have finally shut down all questions about his immediate or near-future retirement. After retiring and then coming out of retirement in February 2022, fans wondered if Brady was only in it for an extra one or two twilight years. However, the story seems to have taken a wild turn after Tampa Tom took the Buccaneers to the divisional title on Sunday.

NBA legend and LA Lakers star LeBron James said he would like to retire after he plays with his son Bronny James in the league one day. However, the former New England Patriots QB has taken it a step further. Brady said that playing with his grandkids in the NFL one day is not entirely off the table.

One day, when I do have grandkids. Hopefully, that’s a long time from now. Maybe I’ll face one of them at some point in the playoffs. That’s possible too. We’ll see. As my friend says, the future happens a day at a time. So that’s where I’m at right now,” Tom Brady said on the Let’s Go podcast with Jim Gray.
