To this day, one of the biggest attractions within the Super Bowl remains to be the halftime show. The halftime show attracts millions of casual football fans and brings them to the game, even if it is just for the show. This year’s event was done by one of the most iconic pop stars, Rihanna. She took the stage in Arizona and went on to give an amazing performance. However, she faced a lot of flak from celebrities, fans, and multiple notable personalities. But, there have been some who spoke up in her defense.
One of them is the legendary NBA HOFer, Shaquille O’Neal. Furthermore, millionaire rapper Boosie also came to Riri’s defense on Vlad TV. His words went viral on YouTube as he defended Rihanna’s pregnant performance at the Super Bowl.

Boosie comes to the defense of Rihanna in a peculiar manner
Boosie went on to speak in favor of Rihanna’s performance at the Super Bowl. He took a very similar stance to Shaq as he went on to defend Riri’s performance in Arizona. He spoke about her pregnancy and how difficult a feat that would be. Boosie went on to say, “No slander against Riri that’s what I think no slander. She was up there pregnant yeah she couldn’t twerk that ass right.” He showcased his respect for her and mentioned that there would be no slander against Rihanna for her performance.
Similarly, even Shaq went on to speak about how slander against Rihanna was unacceptable.
The Big Diesel himself had some comments for people who were willing to slander Rihanna for her pregnant performance at the Super Bowl.

Shaq defends Riri after halftime show slander
Shaq also took to a podcast to address how Rihanna was being slandered for her performance. On the Big Podcast with Shaq, he went on to brutally silence the Rihanna haters, per People. He went on to say, “All you people disrespecting Rihanna, shut your face. Shut it up. We living in a world where people got too much freedom, keep your f***ing thoughts to yourself.” Furthermore, the HOFer does not seem to take the Riri slander lightly and he made it clear how he feels about her haters.

While she did face a lot of slander, her performance did bring a nostalgic feel to older Rihanna fans. However, it only remains to be seen who would be willing to make slanderous comments after Shaq’s strong message to the naysayers.
