The Arvin High School in California recently has to face the ire of netizens after a video of a special needs kid went viral on Thursday. The child was bullied by a bunch of others surrounding him, trimming his hair. It spread like a wildfire, forcing the authorities to take necessary actions. Well, this was not it. Cowboys Linebacker Micah Parsons and the Celtics star Marcus Smart reacted to this incident.

It was a heart wrecking scene for the kid’s mom and several others who were empathetic enough to understand the gravity of the situation. This kind of bullying impacts the mental stability of kids, especially if the child falls into the specially-abled category. A bunch of seven peers surrounded the child, who wore a blue T-shirt, trimming his hair and laughing at him.

In the video, one could see the helpless boy wiping tears. Moreover, per reports, the security guards, who were in the vicinity, didn’t respond. Instead, he watched the kid getting bullied. As soon as the incident went viral, protestors gathered across the school campus, asking for immediate action.

“Regarding the recent events at Arvin High School, please know that the school has taken and will continue to take action.” The school released an official statement per MARCA.“Due to the age of those involved, disciplinary actions will remain confidential. We appreciate your strong emotions and anger at the incident. The school staff shares your feelings.”

“We do not allow these actions, and please know that we educate against bullying.” it reads. All this drama couldn’t help Parsons but respond by offering help for the child.

The Cowboys LB, who caught wind of this situation, asked the fans out there to give the contact information of that kid. Soon, Marcus Smart chimed in appreciating Parsons and asked the fans for more information to get in touch with the family.

“Don’t post his personal info here, but email YGCHOOPS@GMAIL.COM on how to get in touch w him or his family, and we’ll get the Celtics and puma to send a little something his way. We got his back.” Smart wrote on Twitter.

The star linebacker Parsons recently caught the headlines for offering help by paying the gas fares of the citizens a few months ago. Acts like these increase the faith in humanity and encourage people to realize there are still people like Parsons living in our society.
