Philly passer Jalen Hurts almost secured a second Lombardi for the franchise. The 38-35 loss to Patrick Mahomes will linger in the back of Hurts’ mind for quite some time. However, the Eagles giving him a 5-year $255 million extension would have certainly helped to distract the dual-threat quarterback. This temporarily made Hurts the highest-paid NFL player in annual average value, with Hurts annual number coming to $51 million. And Hurts could not have done this without his super agent, Nicole Lynn. However, before signing the new extension, Hurts and Lynn had to get out of Lil Wayne’s sports agency, Young Money APAA.
“Wayne was crushed over these developments,” Bayless said. So why did the player-agent duo decide to leave?

Well, Hurts and his agent apparently had a problem with a picture Wayne took with the former President, Donald Trump, during a visit the rapper made to the White House. Lil Wayne and Trump met to hash out the $500 billion help package, called ‘Platinum Plan’, intended to uplift black communities. The two also shared a photo on social media after their meeting.

“Just had a great meeting with Donald Trump. Besides what he’s done so far with criminal reform, the platinum plan is going to give the community real ownership. He listened to what we had to say today and assured us he will and can get it done,” Wayne captioned the photo.
How did LeBron James benefit in this scenario?
Upon leaving Young Money APAA, Hurts’ agent, Nicole Lynn, joined Klutch Sports as the President of Football operations. Klutch Sports is the golden initiative of LeBron James and his longtime friend and agent Rich Paul. Surely, Rich Paul’s organization was over the moon to secure a QB of Hurts’ talent. Especially given some of the talents the agency represents. This includes LBJ himself and Los Angeles Lakers legend Anthony Davis.

That could be a reason why James, a longtime Dallas Cowboys fan, established his support for Philly’s Jalen Hurts during this year’s NFL playoffs. LeBron is in the NBA playoffs again. And Hurts wants to get his hands on that Super Bowl. Surely, Wayne is thinking back to his decision as the fortunes of Klutch Sports remain on the rise.
