LeBron James was actually at a different NFL game, along with Kawhi Leonard and other NBA stars. Tampa Bay Buccaneers suffered a horrid defeat at the hands of the Los Angeles Rams, a win that LeBron definitely celebrated. The NBA icon was on Instagram calling out Anthony Davis and Russell Westbrook, reiterating that the game was going to go the Rams’ way.

But Tom Brady wasn’t the quarterback who impressed LeBron. It was Aaron Rodgers. Rodgers and Co picked up a huge win against the San Francisco 49ers at Levi’s Stadium. While the action wasn’t far from SoFi Stadium in LA, LeBron was all praise for the Packers’ star quarterback.

LeBron took to Instagram to praise Rodgers. He posted a video of Rodgers celebrating Mason Crosby’s match-winning 51-yard punt. Rodgers leapt up in celebration and embraced his coach, Matt LaFleur. While LeBron added the fire emojis, he also wrote, “He’s a bad MF.” Well, LeBron hit the nail on the head.

While the NFL 2021 season is already in its third week, the NBA season starts shortly. Los Angeles Lakers will kick off the season against the Brooklyn Nets on October 3rd. Can LeBron and Co emulate Aaron Rodgers’ performance and head to their second championship in three years?

After their win over the Niners, the Packers head back home to face the Pittsburgh Steelers. Their opponents are currently in a rough patch, losing two out of their three games. In game week three, they suffered a humiliating loss to the Cincinnati Bengals.

With Rodgers seemingly regaining his form, the game against the Bengals could be a cakewalk. But given their opening day loss to the New Orleans Saints, the Packers know not to take any opponent for granted. A potential injury to Davante Adams is troubling news for them as well.

While Mason Crosby came in clutch for the Packers this week, they will aim to secure a dominating win. They are a favorite to clinch the NFC Championships, but they will need way more firepower to overthrow the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and other undefeated teams. Is this the start of something special for Aaron Rodgers and Co?
