The athlete placed himself among the best defensive end athletes, and it seems like it is just the beginning. The athlete has had dark turns in life, but he channeled the best version of himself. He also spoke about taking the Kobe Bryant approach in his life.

The Black and Silver’s DE sat down with former NFL players Ryan Clark, Channing Crowder, and Fred Taylor for the Pivot Podcast. He spoke about the life-changing move, how he battled addiction, and what it’s like to be a father of a girl. Mad Maxx also reflected on Kobe Bryant as his inspiration and how it affected his lifestyle.

Maxx Crosby cited how Kobe Bryant served as the inspiration that prompted him to train before Super Bowl. He mentioned, “Kobe was one of the best, but people talk about his mentality more than anything and that’s kind of, I feel like I can I bring something different to the table. I got a great story, but the way I play, I feel like it’s just different. That’s what I stand on. Like you said, people make fun of me for playing hard. Now people ask me like how the hell are you in that.”

The two-time Pro Bowler looks determined about the upcoming season and has the Mamba Mentality in mind. The Condor also heaped praise on another inspiration, Mike Tyson. The defensive end athlete is assuredly on a positive route.

After the 2022-23 season fallout, the Las Vegas Raiders are in a crucial zone in terms of quarterback. The franchise sacked Derek Carr, and they are without a starter. Crosby spoke out about not having Carr in the franchise.
