Undisputed hosts Shannon Sharpe and Skip Bayless have finally joined hands in an argument. And interestingly enough, it’s about the former Laker and latest LA Clippers point guard Russell Westbrook.

The former Denver Broncos tight end doesn’t think Russell can take the Clippers to the promised land. Especially with the turnover machine that Westbrook has turned into. After Russell joined Kawhi and the Clippers, the LA side has been 0-4.

Shannon Sharpe shuts down the Twitter crowd

The Clippers’ slump continued in the association yesterday after losing to the Golden State Warriors without Steph Curry. And Russell Westbrook only managed to put up 8 points and 6 assists in 28 minutes of game-time. After the match, Shannon expressed a few things that he wanted Russ to do differently.

With the Lakers, Russ took that lagged off 3 100% of the time,” Shannon Sharpe tweeted while watching the Clippers lose 115-91. And when a Westbrook fan commented on Shannon’s observation, the 3x Super Bowl champion didn’t sit back. “Another Lakers fan watching Clippers games to hate on Russ,” the fan tweeted to Shannon Sharpe. “Considering it’s for my job, yes, I’m watching the Clippers game,” Shannon retorted.

However, Undisputed viewers know fully well that it’s been Shannon’s co-host Bayless who has been critical of Russ more often. “If you watch Undisputed, he hasn’t been on Russ’ case. It’s been Skip,” one sensible fan replied to the Westbrook fan. And Shannon wrote back. “Ssshhhh. Facts ruin his argument,” he retweeted.

This is nothing compared to Shannon VS Ja

Shannon is just reporting. “Russ is an inefficient, turnover-prone point guard,” Sharpe said on his show about Westbrook after the Clippers lost to the Timberwolves this week. However, before Westbrook and Twitter, it was Ja. The former NFL tight end got into quite the scuffle at the Grizzlies-Lakers game in late January. Shannon had a back-and-forth with Dillon Brooks and the Grizzlies players, including Ja’s father, Tee Morant.

However, the Lakers won and Shannon settled down. But this week the Grizzlies avenged the defeat with Ja dropping the jaw. And Memphis took a shot at Sharpe after the game.

Shannon has already publicly criticized Ja Morant’s controversial ‘thug’ image. And recent reports about the former NBA Rookie of the Year have helped validate Shannon’s points further.

And while the Shannon-Ja episode will probably go on, Russell Westbrook is not on Sharpe’s radar like the Memphis athlete.
