Mia Mahomes has been involved in athletics and sports from a young age. This is precisely because of the athletes she is surrounded by, specifically, Patrick Mahomes. This interest and involvement has seen her take on basketball, and do quite well at it. In a recent Instagram story, Randi shared an update on her daughter’s progress in Basketball.

Mia’s obsession and passion for sports at such a young age has seen her be linked to two of the leading sportswomen in America. One such athlete is women’s basketball sensation Angel Reese, one of the upcoming names in the women’s basketball. Reese is the 2023 NCAA champion, and has won numerous awards during her time in college basketball. Mia will hope that she can cash in on her potential in basketball as she looks to be the next big name in women’s basketball. But Mia holds another sport dear to her heart, with her mother pushing her and cheering her on.

Mia has been playing tennis from a young age. With her passion for the sport alongside basketball, Mia Mahomes could follow in the footsteps of American Tennis star, Coco Gauff. Randi’s daughter has been training in the sport for quite some time now. Her mother sharing sneak peeks of Mia’s training sessions on her Instagram handle. In the story posted by her mother, Mia was seen at Tennis practice. Randi captioned the story with, “It’s a bit hot out today. Tennis time”. Randi hints at the intense heatwave experienced across the globe and America with her daughter continuing her practice in such heat.

Mia’s mother shared another update in one of her previous posts on Instagram which showed Mia in a practice session. Mia and her mother have been working together for a while now, as she continues her pursuit of excellence in sports. Although both Reese and Gauff are some distance away, but her ambition is testament to her perseverance.

Mia is still quite young, and has some way to go if he is to manifest taking on the likes of Gauff and Reese. But if she is anything like her brother, both stars should be wary of her. As Mia pursues her passion and love for sports.
