There aren’t a lot of days in the world of college football when you see top QBs dissing each other, but the tensions around the Draft are bringing out the rivalry at its strongest. Caleb Williams, the supposed number 1 QB pick, had strong words to say about one of his contenders and things are starting to get heated up.

Malik Nabers, the wide receiver for the LSU Tigers, is a phenomenal athlete who is set to have a bright future in the NFL. He’s projected to be a top 5 pick in the Draft but will be miles behind the likes of Caleb Williams and Jayden Daniels. As such, Williams decided to poke fun at his fellow contender for his 40-yard dash run which is a surefire way to boost his stock in the upcoming days.

It looks like things are getting heated up between Caleb Williams and Malik Nabers as his Pro Day performance draws attention from all over. While it isn’t far off from Nabers, it certainly is a better time than the projected number 1 QB. Hence, Williams wasn’t too happy with Nabers’ feat and called him out on Instagram. Williams posted a reel of Nabers’ run on his story and captioned it with 3 bitter words. He wrote, “BOY YA SLOW” and even tagged Nabers in the story. The 2022 Heisman Winner seems to be bitter at Nabers being better at the 40-yard dash than him and as such, the tensions will only rise from here. Even though Williams takes the cake when it comes to being a top Draft prospect, Nabers still believes that he is the best.

“I’m the best”: Malik Nabers’ strong words after his Pro Day performance

One of the two LSU star players, Nabers believes he’s the top wide receiver in the 2024 class. He strongly believes that no defense can stop him and continues to stand up to his words. Moreover, fans and analysts have termed him the draft’s most electric athlete after his Pro Day performance. Additionally, Nabers will be competing against Marvin Harrison Jr., for the top spot but at the same time, already believes he’s the number 1 pick.

He said, “I’m a dog. I don’t know where it comes from you know, when I’m out there on the field, you know, the mentality that I show when I’m out there on the field, it’s just, you can’t guard me. For me, everybody says receiver one, receiver two, receiver three. I’m always the one that I would say I’m the best. We all got that chip on our shoulder that we the best. The main thing I came out here to set the record straight that I’m the best.” Thus, Nabers is aiming to be the absolute best as the Draft draws near.
