There are two new generational talents in the NFL and both of them will be playing in the Chicago Bears. The NFL Draft led to exciting new revelations for the upcoming 2024 season but the union of Caleb Williams and Rome Odunze takes the cake. Caleb Williams and Rome Odunze were both projected to be the number 1 ranked quarterback and wide receiver respectively.

Though Williams was most likely to end up with the Bears, Odunze was speculated to either end up with the Giants or the Raiders under Jim Harbaugh. Yet in a surprising move, the Bears used their ninth pick to choose the Huskies’ WR, and thus, his former coach had nothing but well wishes for the youngster’s future and dynamic alongside Caleb Williams.

On 29th April, the ‘670 The Score’ show, released their newest episode which had the newly appointed Alabama HC Kalen DeBoer join on as a guest. he was heard praising the Bears on their selection of Rome Odunze and further emphasized his talent and performance. DeBoer said, “I think from what I’ve seen a little bit. They’ve kind of built that relationship already even before they realize they’re going to get drafted. It’s going to be really cool seeing those two connect just because of the time they’re coming into the league and also where they played. I think there’s a special connection there that they’re going to be about and getting a chance to prove themselves individually and collectively together.” Both Williams and Odunze have a long way to go and hopefully, they’ll be able to make history with the Bears this season.
