The former Michigan Wolverines RB was drafted to the Los Angeles Rams on Draft Day 2 at #83. He had a special message for Corum, “BREAKFAST CLUB TO DRAFT,” recalling his early days with the Michigan star.

For fans who do not know, Blake Corum and Caleb Williams hail from the same training camp at District Heights, Athletic Republic Capitol Region, operated by Carl Williams. As a part of their training, the young kids were expected to get up at 5:30 AM for a workout session and then a lifting session at 6:30 AM. It was named the Breakfast Club, and the young members carried the camaraderie to their college days as well.

Blake Corum reminds Caleb Williams of their training days

Blake Corum took to X on December 10th to post a congratulatory message for Caleb Williams for winning the Heisman Trophy. He tweeted, “@CALEBcsw, congrats my boy🤞🏽BREAKFAST club days paid off!!” His message reached the USC star who immediately responded, “They paid off brotha. Thanks!!” Caleb Williams then wished Corum a speedy recovery.

The conversation in reference happened after Caleb Williams was awarded the Heisman Trophy in 2022. After winning, he became the 8th Heisman finalist from the ARCR. Interestingly, Blake Corum was also one of the candidates for the award. Although his 2022 season was cut short because of a torn ACL injury, he bounced back to finish 7th in the voting. Now, the two-star athletes of ARCR will develop another rivalry in the NFL.
