Hortiz revealed that he met Jim before John when Jim was the quarterback during his rookie year with the Ravens. Despite his best efforts, Hortiz confessed, “I swear to you, I am so blessed to be here today, that I got out of that room because I was getting thrown around. I am getting ready to hit a ball off the wall,  Jim comes in and just chucks me into the middle of the court. So, I realized I was there just to give them a break, in a game of cutthroat, as they call it,” highlighting the sheer competitiveness of Jim Harbaugh.
